Betty has traveled the road to recovery, and has been delivered from alcohol, drugs and cigarettes. She knows well the heartache of grief; her husband of 38 years left her for another woman. It is from those deep experiences and the victory over these areas that she addresses others, in the true hope that both men and women will realize that God does love them and that He is their only source of healing. Betty speaks at churches, retreats, on television and for many women's organizations, including Women AGLOW. She has spoken extensively throughout the United States and Canada. As an ordained minister and author, Betty; has helped many individuals going through trials and tribulations to get back on their feet and on the road to recovery. Voted Woman of the Year at the eleventh annual Camarillo Women's Day for her work with the homeless, Betty is an advocate for those who have been hurt and bruised. She has counseled many men and women from all walks of life. It is not unusual to have a client fly from New York to speak with Betty to receive insight into their concerns. Mother of two and grandmother of three, Betty now lives in Southern California with her new husband Bill. He has been a stalwart friend and ally in her ministry.
